Sweet Tater Primitives

I opened Sweet Tater Primitives waaaay back in 2003. I’ve been creating one-of-a-kind dolls, stitcheries and pillows since 1988 and began sewing in the early 1980’s as a very young child

I can remember watching my mom stay up all hours of the night creating her hand-made baskets and magnets, which she would sell at specialty stores and at craft shows. There would be times when I would be allowed to stay awake with her, late into the evening (probably 10:00 p.m. but it felt later than that! LOL) sometimes she’d trust me with her hot glue gun! That is a  wonderful memory :) I encourage all parents to take up a craft and teach your children, even if the project turns out a “little funky” you’ll always share that wonderful memory!

Back in 2005 I took a time off from selling my crafts (although I continued to create items for gifts) to continue my love of virtual assisting.  Although I’ve met some wonderful business owners along the journey, I truly missed creating and selling my primitive decor. I’m thankful for the time away from my primitive craft business, it gave me a break and taught me a lot about myself and what my passion really is!

Yes, I may accept virtual assistant assignments from time to time, but that business will not take over my days and nights any longer.

Please subscribe to my feeder and/or ezine to stay up-to-date on where to find me, what’s new and anything that’s newsworthy for “Sweet Tater Primitives”.

God Bless!

Stephanie
